For the presentation of the “sound paths”, the leporello format seemed particularly well suited. Four such leporelli are included with the CD document of acoustic cartography in an embossed, black CD box. Three of these provide information about each “sound path”, while the fourth leporello contains a summary of all the paths.

As minimal as the publication is designed, so high-quality are the materials used: The leporelli were printed on Munken Pure, which has a very pleasant color and feel. The outer packaging is a folding box, constructed without adhesive surfaces. For this, through-dyed black cardboard from Römerturm was selected. On the front side of the box, small squares have been punched out through which the observer can recognize fragments of the soundtracks.

Astrid and Ephraim Wegner.
