Auke de Vries

This catalog accompanies the monographic exhibition “A Peaceful Invasion”, containing all of the works that Auke de Vries showed at the Kunsthalle Göppingen in 2013. His sculptures extend sprawlingly into space, filling the entire exhibition hall. A selection of his pieces can be found in urban public spaces. Our task was to capture these large yet light and poetic in the catalog format without confining them. We decided to give the works presented lots of white space, letting them breathe with ease and freedom.
