In the work of Tom Früchtl the boundaries between reality and painting blur – and sometimes even disappear. By challenging the observer to look closely, to question what they have already perceived and reinterpret what they have already cognitively arranged, the artist creates a field of tension that is also represented in the exhibition catalog.
