Sculpture is, when…
Visitors to a group exhibition at the Kunsthalle Göppingen were astonished by how eclectic the artistic activity of a selection of former school colleagues, all sculptors, could be. The show, which took as its subject an investigation of sculpture in the contemporary context, required us to create an accompanying catalog that would reveal the overarching connections between all these works. We did so via a rigorous design approach that gave sufficient space to each participating artist while highlighting the unique features of each of their oeuvres.
