Beckmann Draws Hauser
The catalog contains the graphic engagement of Matthias Beckmann with the Kunststiftung Erich Hauser. In 41 black-and-white drawings, the artist recorded the events in the exhibition pyramid and the large surrounding area over a certain period of time, deliberately choosing “lively event phases”, as one learns from the catalog text. The drawings are set in scene by the red thread stitching which literally serves to tie the book together. The French binding format allows for two gate-folds on the inside covers for the special format drawings. The inside was 1-color spot printed, while the outside was two-color spot printed.
