This small book was created on the occasion of the “800 Years Collegiate Church” jubilee. Details of the Collegiate Church of Faurndau are presented in entertaining and amusing ways, while also offering a closer look at its sculptures, frescoes, friezes, epitaphs, and more… Many of the Church’s hidden treasures reveal themselves only upon closer inspection and many of its mysterious details can only be discovered with the aid of expert interpretation. The author, Bärbel Grieb, has been involved with the Collegiate Church for many years and has published regular reports under the title “When Stones Speak” since 2012. Along with doing the graphic design for this publication, I was also able to contribute a large number of the included photographs.
